JOB DUTIES:

Designs, develops and maintains databases. Designs, implements and supports database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures. Develops and implements database security infrastructure and user access accounts. Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations; plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Monitors database performance trends to identify and correct problems.

JOB SKILLS:
Bachelors degree in computing field or multiple oracle
database certifications are desired. proficient as a database administrator in oracle versions 9i and 10g. understands and uses oracle enterprise manager (OEM) and/or Grid Control. proficient in creating and managing database tables and schemas in databases,
instances, and server partitions. understands database security, including backup, recovery, access control, and change control.
Familiar with oracle data warehouse tuning and data security using virtual private database (vpd) are desired.
