Responsibilities:

Provides operational leadership for the E-Mail Center of Excellence.
Recruits and manages performance and development of four to six direct supervisors and 50-70 service representatives.
Maintains quality and service standards for operational e-mail communication across all USAA companies.

Minimum Requirements:

Five years leadership experience in high-volume, high-quality customer contact center(s) with 75+ employees and supervisors.
One year leadership experience with e-mail, chat or other non-traditional call center functions.
Proven ability to lead an organization by developing effective relationships with peers, subordinates and senior leaders.
Solid track record of establishing and achieving challenging quality, service level and staffing goals.
Willingness to take calculated and well-informed risks.
Flexibility to move across multi-channel customer service leadership positions (including e-mail, inbound and outbound telephone and non-traditional channels such as chat)
Excellent written and spoken communications skills across audiences (members, employees, peers and supervisors).
Personal ownership of performance results and unwillingness to settle for anything than world-class delivery.

Preferred:

Experience working in a financial services environment.
Solid understanding or experience working with members of the United States military
Previous experience in developing and implementing strategies for customer communications.
Previous experience supporting an eCommerce focused business.
