JOB DUTIES
1. Identifies the appropriate application of technology to solve business needs. Develops detailed requirements and specification documents.
2. Participates in the development and review of Requests for Proposal. Develops business and technical criteria to be used in the evaluation of products in the marketplace.
3. Applies technical expertise in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing new systems or modifications to existing systems. Applies an advanced knowledge of system environments, databases and utilities in the development process.
4. Identifies and analyzes system and application problems. Determines solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve the problem and avoid a reoccurrence.
5. Guides, mentors and fosters growth of peers and less knowledgeable individuals.
6. ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS: Typically, the job that could qualify for movement into this position is IT Programmer/Analyst.

Minimum Requirements:
IT related college degree or equivalent experience. Broad knowledge of IT systems with basic ability to design, develop and implement moderately complex to complex systems. Experience defining IT Operations requirements to implement business solutions. IT experience with enterprise level networks, servers, databases, and storage. Project coordination/support experience. Must also have good communications and interpersonal skills. IT related degree.
