Network Engineer 5 - Genesys CTI
Specific requirements include:- Develops/designs/updates/supports Genesys strategies and infrastructure for a multi-tenant Genesys environment- Provides second and third level production support for the Genesys CTI environment. Will be responsible for resolution of issues and communication of status to all impacted parties and management. Position requires sharing on-call duties including carrying a pager nights and weekends on a rotating basis to respond to critical system problems.- Will provide assistance for QA testing support- Experience in a Genesys CTI environment including STRONG network and premise based routing logic design and debug skills- Strong background in utilizing carrier based routing such as MCI Gateway Services or AT&T ICP services, as well as the ability to manipulate network plans to integrate into a CTI environment.- Understanding of basic networking concepts such as WAN infrastructure and protocols such as TCP, UDP, etc.- Experience with premise ACD/PBX integration (MAPD, Symposium, etc) and basic switch routing concepts, including an intermediate to advanced understanding of IVR and Telephony interfaces into CTI systems.- "Power User" experience with UNIX systems (AIX or Solaris preferred)Minimum Qualifications- 5 Years experience with Telecommunications and Contact Center Technology and Architecture, Call Center and CTI Technologies- Working knowledge of Microsoft^s desktop application suite, UNIX, Windows- Automatic Call Distributor ACD / PBX experience - Nortel, Avaya, and Aspect- CTI Certified Genesys Engineer 7.x or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills:- UNIX, Oracle/SQL, Visio- Strong documentation skills- Preferred 4 year degree- Desktop development experience with Genesys APIs
