Triad Communications Group is a New Jersey Based telecommunications installation company with offices in East Brunswick, NJ. We have immediate openings for field technicians reporting to our Installation Manager. Job is full time PLUS OVERTIME (GREAT EARNING POTENTIAL), and based out of East Brunswick, NJ. We are looking for highly motivated candidates that are looking to be a part of an entrepreneurial growth oriented organization. All Field Technicians are eligible for Overtime. Great Earning Potential for Motivated Technicians.Skills Required.
Install, terminate and test DC power at the equipment and BDFB. Install and terminate ground cables to all equipment cabinets, equipment and cable rack. Install cat 5 patch cables. Install ladder rack and associated iron work to support the rack. Install cabinets in a cement floor with seismic anchors. Install fiber trough. Install different types of equipment in the cabinets and power it up. Install fiber optic cable from patch panel to patch panel. Label all cabinets and cables to industry standards. All power and ground cables will be laced with 9 cord. Work with detailed engineering drawings and rack layout diagrams. Ability to work one on one with the end customer. Effective communication skills.
RequirementsMinimum 4 years experience with installation job responsibilities. Must demonstrateproficiencies of Level 3 and 4 - Installer as well as have capabilities to perform additions,removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits. Must have provenproficiencies in: power transition work, addition or removal of circuits on working powerdistribution sources. Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office suite. Mustbe able to supervise the job and turn in all paperwork. Must be able to identify Out ofScope Work and write Change Orders.
