Network Implementation Engineer Requirement

1. Network implementation responsible to stage, configure, test and bring online all needed network equipment. Network equipment including, but not limited to:
a. Cisco switches: 6509, 4948, 3750 and 2960
b. Cisco router / terminal server 2811
c. Infinistream network sniffer
d. Cisco DWDM equipment

2. Working with clients Engineering and Operations to review high level network design and develop physical implementation plan.

3. Coordinate equipment ordering; manage equipment inventory and installation logistics.

4. Implement various network equipment from engineering design and specifications to building configuration, staging, connectivity patching, testing and production turn-up.

5. Coordinate with cabling infrastructure construction team and facility hardware group, schedule equipment installation, testing with production services before bringing system online.

6. Produce network as-built documentation and handoff to operations.

7. Support day to day network changes and connectivity solutions

8. This individual will be working at the following locations:

a. New York City, NY
b. Jersey City, NJ
c. Livingston, NJ
d. Cranford, NJ
e. Piscataway, NJ

9. Support after hour and weekend work as required per schedule changes

10. Minimum of 3 years of professional Cisco routing and switching
