Albin Engineering is seeking a Video Test Engineer to do New Product Video Test Development for a Fortune 500 technology company. This is a 6 month plus W-2 contract. Prefer local candidates who can work for any US Company.
Candidate should have familiarity with:
- Video CODEC Standards, MPEG 4, H.263
- Video Transmission (Transport Stream)
- Video over IP
- Video Performance measurements Quality Testing
Peak Signal/Noise Ratio
CODEC Performance
Video Bit Rate
- Video Transmission Metrics
Network Delay
Loss, Throughput
Traffic Jitter, Data Loss
- Test Instruments such as: Tektronix Spectra 2/VQM, Spirent and IXIA
- Strong understanding and experience with Video Technology (MPEG, CATV standards)
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing test development requirements
- Experience with LabView/LabWindows or similar measurement automation software
