Albin Engineering is seeking candidates who have a strong understanding in Lean Manufacturing/Implementation. Participate in analysis of process improvement needs, planning and implementing process improvement efforts using tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Maintain current metrics while developing new metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities. Measure performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls. Work with management to align metrics to division strategy and provides input on metric policies and infrastructure. Provides support to Project/Program Team Leads in the form of organization methods, facilitation, project metrics recommendations, recommendations for techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
Skills/Experience


A level of educational development normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor s degree in business or industrial engineering with minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Has a strong understanding and proven ability to apply Lean (TQM, Lean tool set, etc.)
Understands applies company policies and procedures.
Ability to work on problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
