Manages one or more projects that may involve applications (primarily) and/or network infrastructure work.

The specific requirements for this position are as follows:

Required Skills
PMP Certification.
Experience managing IT project(s)
o Applications
o Infrastructure
o Standards and Procedures
Demonstrated hands-on ability to perform or manage work in one or more of
the above areas is required
Prior demonstrated ability to achieve and accomplish set goals is important
Ability to work with vendors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with a variety of technical and business managers and staff
Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
Experience with Microsoft Project.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Skills
Public sector experience as a project manager or within a program area.
Experience and familiarity with both IBM mainframe and Microsoft webbased
.NET environments.
Experience working with technical programming teams.
Experience with network infrastructure projects
Take-charge, can-do attitude
Negotiation, mediation skills
Facilitation skills
